no reason to. They are pretty solid glasses.

It looks like it's hollow under/outside of the skull area.
Which is where I'd be afraid of damaging the glass, when it gets set down.

It is hollow under there, but the skull doesn't go below the bottom of the glass. As long as you don't try to put the glass down on a non flat surface (think putting it down on a pyramid - why, I have no idea
) you'll be fine. -

So i got my gift too, after many days of thinking and rethinking, got Surface Pro 4, i5 256GB, 8GB; partially chipped in by wife as anniversary/Christmas/New Year gift!
I really like the keyboard, setting up the machine, tonight's gonnabe a long night! \m/ \m/

I can confirm that for sure - I`ve got one that felt down on the wooden floor 2-3 feets high without any consequences
