Works fine on windows 7 computers, Windows 10 is showing

The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows attempted to read the file [Sysvol GP location] from a domain controller and was not successful. Group Policy settings may not be applied until this event is resolved. This issue may be transient and could be caused by one or more of the following:

Doesn't make sense that windows 10 computers are the only ones having this issue.

Likely your domain functional level needs to be upgraded to support windows 10.

Domain functional level has nothing to do with Client OSes.

Are you sure that the GPO is configured for Windows 10?

Which is controlled by the domain functional level.

Actually it's not. It's setup up but updating your GP central store. Functional level has nothing to do with that. Functional Level is not related to the client OSes.

I was just told by other people they've been having this issue because of UNC path hardening in windows 10.

I must be in a mood this morning. In my mind when I read this I pictured Windows getting older and having its arteries stiffening up from cholesterol.
