Literally just scrapped all of our plans for the upcoming year, just weeks before leaving to move to South America, and with just a couple hours of planning just booked ourselves onto the Isle of Crete for the winter. We are Mediterranean bound in a few weeks!!

Nice! Why the sudden change of plans?

Because we were about to pay a fortune for cruises and flights to South America when we suddenly said "Why are we doing this? All of our plans for living in 2016 were made in my first weeks of working for Change long ago and were based around things like mandatory vacation times and stuff." So we stepped back and said "oh gosh, we can do and go anywhere... what do we do now?"

So Dominica started looking all over Europe for options and found an incredible house on Crete that just blow our socks off. So we wrote to them and asked for a deal for taking it for the whole winter and they came back with a crazy offer so we jumped on it.

Gotta love it when a plan comes together. 8-)

Yeah. We shaved like $10K off of our winter budget and made everything much lower key. And Crete looks amazing. Our daughter is currently studying ancient Greece too. And where better to do that than on Crete, the birthplace of Europe!

Deployed a GPO to some Windows 10 test bunnies that turns off a pile of Windows 10 (and some 8.x) settings (OS filtered by WMI query)

                      Working well, so far.

                          Darkly is my current favourite.

From what version to what version?

As I just learned yesterday the regex for fail2ban changes with each version apparently.

                                    quite silly IMO.

Did not record what we were on. Now on: owncloud-8.1.4-12.1

                                      This is on CentOS 7.1.

Ah, it appears that the regex only changes on the minor rev change. 8.0 -> 8.1 -> 8.2

Is everyone busy getting ready for Thanksgiving or just lazy cause you don't want to work this week? I hear crickets around here today.
