Just having my first cup of home made Nicaragua coffee. So yummy. We always get our coffee locally made wherever we are (when possible) and this one is exceptionally good.

One of the benefits of being in that side of the Americas. They know and grow good coffee 😋 ☕

Oh yeah, Central American and northern South America are the bomb for coffee.

@scottalanmiller Super jealous! I wonder how much it'd cost to mail a pound of beans. Probably a lot more than it's worth 😞

You've seen what a pound of "gourmet" beans go for on this continent... I'll take one if its under 30 bucks.

If you brought some back to the States when you return in Dec, I'd pay for it 🙂

Probably not a lot. Lots of options here too. There were several in Panama while we were there too.

@smartkid808 sometimes hooks me up with "cost is the same in weight as gold" pure Kona beans which are AMAZING.

Not likely going to fit into the luggage. Shipping might be possible.

I'd love to run a small import/export business, even just for fun (as long as it isn't losing money.) Let me know what products people want from Central America. Maybe we can set something up 🙂

I'm told that @davedemlow's favourite cigars anywhere come from an estate in northern Nicaragua. Not the first person to tell me that either. Apparently Nicaragua is up there with the Dominican Republic for the world's best cigars.
