Centrify makes GPO for Linux - so that Linux can actually use GPO from a Windows Server. So GPO covers both, if you want it to.

Samba 4 on Linux will provide GPO to Windows as well as Linux too. So you can use Linux on both sides (server and client) for GPO if you want.

Kansas City isn't exactly a major market.

In telecom, it's one of the major hubs of the country.

Sprint is headquartered in Overland Park. Google Fiber fired up there first. AT&T before remerger had a major operation there. Tons of telecoms peer within KCI because of that.

It is not a major television market, nor a populous place. But it has lots of braintrust and serious players in the market around there. Birch is one of the bigger players who have done well since their last Chapter 11.

@Joyfano A little English help, the correct word I there is innocent. "Do you think he is innocent?"

Regarding the post itself, the megaupload site was most certainly abused by the users to post copyrighted material. That does not mean that Lim Dotcom himself or the company did anything illegal. The US Government definitely overstepped its authority at the prompting of the media companies.

Hmm Thank You. Part of my Learning 🙂

Now, so far as I know, Asus is planning on releasing a DIY kit to pop a G-Sync chip in a few of their monitors, namely the VG248QE.

Oh, it's the same text. That means that my browser failed and said that I didn't post. Since I post from mobile devices that happens a lot and I expect it. So I take a copy of the text before I submit so that I don't have to retype. I never saw that there were two.

LTS is the way to go if you are using Ubuntu.

Sort of. I've worked with shops that thought that and got seriously burned. Canonical didn't actually provide support for LTS issues and told their customers that to get support they had to upgrade to the newer, non-LTS versions. So the concept of Long Term Support in the Ubuntu world isn't what we think of it in the business class world of Red Hat, Suse or Windows. If you run into bugs that cause instability in those, they fix them. They don't tell you to leave your supported version and go to an unsupported version to get a fix.
