That makes sense. I just wouldn't categorize them as FPS because there are TPS war games and other types too. And isometric, etc.

We had some other FPS on the N64. There was the obvious GoldenEye and Perfect Dark. But I swear that there was another one that was decent that was more cartoony, but I can't recall what it might have been. South Park was the most fun of them, though.

The biggest war games are, as a rule, FPS. I agree not all, but most. That's the classic perspective. What's funny, though, is that Star Wars: Battlefront was fine, because it's Star Wars. 🙂

30 years ago I was teaching 8th grade students to animate graphics on Commodore 64 computers networked to share 5.25" floppy drives and printers. I also picked up my first and only certification on computers- Commodore Repair.

Besides, you're looking at being on hold completely wrong. That is FREE TIME for you! People can't pull you away for anything short of the server room being on fire because you're already on hold for another issue. So put the phone on speaker, mute your phone, and start doing stuff that you can setup to run and just let run. Run updates. Check the servers for whatever. I've worked many helpdesk jobs, and hold time is GOLD! Rarely are you given such a perfect opportunity to multi-task. When they pick up the line, take 20 seconds or less and wrap up what you're doing and go back to the original issue.

@g.jacobse Time for a sit down with your boss. You need some assistance as you are only one person. If they don't want to give you additional help then walk. No job is worth sacrificing your health for.

@Dashrender that's awesome, not sure what happened.

Kind of demonstrates how little school education matters. No one ever comes out understanding science, knowing any history or being able to speak or write well. So where is the value? We teach a bunch of broadly useless information incorrectly and then find out that while we did damage to the students, it didn't matter since they didn't need any knowledge anyway.
