Some people will continue to argue the point even when they discover that they are wrong mid-argument. Ass-hats.

I'm not sure she ever figured out she was wrong. Once you can't read a clock, you really just need to be kept in a padded room somewhere.

Creatively answering the phone for strange/unknown numbers is fun could also be fun for sales people too 😉 :

$randomlocale circumcisions. You flop it, we chop it. $pizzaco, may I start with your phone number? Joe's Morgue. You kill 'em, we chill 'em Your call could not be connected, please check the number and try again (wait 2 seconds and repeat until hang up) Hello? HEEELLLLOOO? Who's there? I can't hear you. Is phone on mute? Hello? You aren't funny. $town police station, Sergeant Stevens speaking.

Usually it isn't immediate life or death. Yes over the long term it will shorten your life and make you die of a heart attack, but usually you've been living with it for a while before you even get diagnosed.

There are some possible negative side effects, such as having the pressure too high and causing central apnea.

The thing you have to remember is that you and I, Scott, are 3+ standard deviations above the mean intelligence, so we're perfectly capable of purchasing and setting up our own system. The other 99.9% of people aren't that smart 🙂

I'd be curious where I fell...

The "disconnecting" thread. Then the "Scot argues with everything" thread. Then the other CPAP thread.

Good grief. I'd better invest in a tracking dog.

So I can't say their customer service is great...

I think that can be said of almost all telecom companies.

I've only had amazing customer service with Optimum.

Ubiquiti Mport and Temperature sensor has be ordered to use mFI to turn on a fan if needed and and off if not needed from the PDU. and also to hard kill everything if a it gets too hot.

That's awesome. Very impressive. HOw did that cost?

It was less than $100 for both the sensor and the mPort (which puts the serial devices on TCP/IP)
