    I also like to call tech support before the purchase just to see how long the queues are, and how competent their support is.

    That's a neat trick. I shall try that next time 😄

    We were traveling back from NYC when it hit. We just got some of the nasty rain/wind just outside of Binghamton on our way back. Our son said it got scary here at our house though.

    @g.jacobse Thanks.

    The source article does not specify the efficiency value of the unit. It also clarifies that this unit is not for sale, thus insinuating that it is strictly for demo purposes. It does say that they have industrial size units.

    Edit: I missed the part of the article talking numbers. It is (was in 2010) for sale for $12k and they claimed a cost of 1KWH of electricity to run one batch.

    The source does confirm that it uses Pyrolysis which is not new.

    It makes Bill Gates sound like 80 years old, I'm surprised they didn't include something about sagging and loud music.

    I've always thought that. My first job in 1989 for Eastman Kodak was from a home office!

    Yes but you were a teenager and your father worked there...

    But he wasn't involved on the project I was on. Not really related.

    Just saying if you don't think he had something to do with you getting in there that is silly.

    Yes, we can use Hola but that doesn't work on Wii U or Roku last I knew 😉

    I've done some stuff with Hola and a shared wireless network on my laptop that works fairly well for that sort of thing... but I have to set it up as it is too much work for my fiance. So ease of use goes out the window.

    I have awesome Cellualar connection here Verizon is the best by far, but AT& T and Sprint have gotten better recently. Tmobile is still not great here in our area.

    Power everything is old here they haven't bothered to replace anything since the 70's.

    "Awesome cellular" is a bit of an overstatement. Compared to over here her cell costs about three times as much as has to worry about "coverage". I can't find a place to drop below three bars even in the middle of nowhere in the country. And across several countries. There is nowhere, not even in Manhattan, that you can get cell service on par with rural Europe.
