Purchase date works but if you want specific information Dell has an API designed to look up Warranties.

Those warranties are only valid if you purchase direct - otherwise they can be months off. You buy a PC from a vendor, where that unit has been sitting on the shelf for 3 months - that's three more months of warranty you typically get.

Though in lacking the purchasing invoice, the manufacture date is better than nothing.

@WrCombs - did you reset the AP before using the AP? If no, that's why you couldn't find it.

Also, I'm not sure if the app can find an AP via non associated wifi or not - I'm guessing it must be able to, as home users wouldn't typically have a way for their cell phone to be attached to the physical network since you're just now trying to install wifi in the home.

Went to a store the other day where they had a large number of different LEDs on display.

Checked them out and all Philips LEDs were flicker free but the noname ones were a mixed bag. Some were flicker free while others were horrible and some in between.
