This is specious at best. Though the MacBook Pro has legit hardware it's the software, OS X, that glitters almost every single action you can take on the laptop w/ latency and sporadic slow. The HiDPI approach is nice, and makes half of everything very beautiful, but OS X and or the graphics drivers just cannot keep up with an expert computer user, unless they tend to interact w/ a computer slowly enough that the rampant latency doesn't frustrate them. I personally just cannot write code on a mac, I find myself almost screaming as I watch the OS flounder and try to keep up with my keystrokes and interactions, and have almost thrown a MacBook Pro out a window before because of it, not exaggerating.

Macs have crashed on me and had "hardware related issues" so, so, so much more than Windows machines that it makes me snicker when people make claims like this.

Agreed. They used to be target at creative professionals now the are consumer. I do have a work macbook air but I simply use it because it's lightweight and it was bought for someone who didn't like it. Even with as big as our accounts are apple is just about the only one who will not let us return anything.

This is pretty much where you are. You want to move things from one place to another but you don't want to say what those things are. How are you envisioning that this would work?

Not from conflicting settings you won't get delayed logins. Conflicting settings will just allow one to override the other.

Delayed logins come from permissions issues, trying to do to much, bad settings or corrupt Sysvol and too much WMI filtering.

We use a lot of Cisco here, I don't care for their routers but I like their switches. The routers are going by bye because we are dropping standard internet connections and getting Ethernet (fiber) from every location in to a colo datacenter and then putting some virtual Palo Alto Router/Firewalls there.

I don't know much about MS Dynamics CRM but I know from having used Dynamics GP (keep in mind while they share part of the name they are not the same products nor related at all aside from name) a lot there isn't much information as far as training on it either written or video. You really have to learn from yourself, other people and conferences.

You buy one seat to use the key. Microsoft almost never gives you the keys for the "Other rights" or downgrade rights of an application or OS.

Yeah the MDSN and MSVLSC are seperate. The Volume licensing is for production and the MSDN is for testing purposes only. Granted I don't think it matters too much what key is installed. We have both accounts.

Sure it does. You just need an emergency IVR message stating there is a problem with the telephone provider and calls are being rerouted to a backup system. Then dump the calls to a few desginated emergency operators.

We have lines with a roll over agreement between to providers so we don't have to do that.

You're situation is a bit larger than most, so those agreements are definitely a good idea.

Our provider does allow us to designate a failover forward to phone number, so in the case where the SIP traffic can't register, it would auto failover.

I'm not recommending those specific values, just showing examples.

NFSv4 is only for security, typically you want to avoid this in a production virtualization environment. You would want to be on NFSv3 for performance reasons.

I ordered one earlier, and then find out in a NewEgg video that opening the case voids your warranty. Super annoying. I have no use for a 7200 RPM drive or the power it consumes so would love to just pluck that out.
