Is it bigger than the Note 3 or a couple other Android phones? If yes, fine. If not, still doesn't stand. 😛

Note 3 is 5.7", iPhone 6+ is 5.5". Among the largest phones. Large enough that it's crossing into the "when is it an iPad" territory. Large enough that I'd call it a tablet, not a phone. If you can't use it as a phone, it's not a phone.

That's not THAT big. I've seen phones bigger than the Note 3. Now those are nuts. However, that can be a nice size, for some things. I like my S4, as it's a little smaller, and therefore more compact.

Well I have an iPad, that is 10". We are into a game of calling tablets phones. There are 7" and 10" iPads. And there are 4.7" and 5.5" iPhones. The gap between the largest phone and the smallest tablet isn't as big as between the two tablets. Basically you now have any size you want within reasonable granularity. So size isn't really a factor anymore.

Any complaints about size now are really just excuses. Nearly all phones come in nearly all sizes.

      That is true.

Plus it sucks for lefties who wear their watch on the right wrist, as the knob is on the wrong side, unless they have an "invert" function.

I'm a leftie and whilst I haven't owned a watch for years, I've always worn them on my left hand. Why wouldn't you?

It'll be interesting to see if the new big iPhone cannibalizes the iPad Mini market much.

I find a 4 inch screen a bit too small. 4.7 is probably the perfect size for me. Though I only keep my phone in my pocket when I'm walking around. I generally put it on a table when I sit down.

I'd *love *to see a 5.5" iPod, though I don't think that's gonna happen is it?

I guess I'm not technie enough for an Android phone 😉

My wife and 9 year old son both have Android tablets and whenever I borrow them I have to ask them for support. Oh, the shame.

I can assure you I'm not an iPhone user for the prestige though. I have no prestige. So you can put me in the 1% there.

I wonder how these new sizes will affect app development?

One thing Apple had going for it for the longest was a single screen size (though I haven't paid any attention over the last several years - so I have no clue if they changed or not).

Of course Apple has already had to deal with this since they had the iPhone, iPad Mini and the standard iPad (in different resolutions). So at bar minimum they've had 4 different size factors to deal with.

I know Android has had multi-sized screen issues for years (thought I don't think they are that bad any more).

I'm a rightie but always wore my watches in the right wrist.

Apple enforces vector graphics nearly always making screen size differences not important.

I guess it hasn't always be that way or why is it if you download an application meant for an iPhone on an iPad it does horrible scaling.

You can see what you phone is worth there (only online one I could find).

Because of the cracked screen, my phone is worth $36.

How much is it worth without a cracked screen? Would it be worth it to spend $75-100 to get the screen repaired?
