@wrcombs The business gmail is a good product in my opinion.

I think it's mediocre. It looks like a toy and is not efficient at all.

Sometimes you need to use the API in order to do things you would think would be fairly common for businesses. The support can be a bit of a joke. You have to tell them to close the ticket so that people who don't know what they are talking about will stop calling you to try and convince you about things that are bs.

The last I checked, their cheaper offering was well below the features you can get in O365 for the same price.

Yeah, I had to use their support recently and it wasn't the best.

I've noticed a lot of the times that I receive emails there's this signature at the bottom

          "sent from my Iphone"

Curious, Does everyone use mobile signatures?

I never even thought about setting one up, however if I were to set one up would "sent from my Moto" work?

This is just my time waster post today, It's not dire.

WHen you send mail from your phone, the email app usually puts that there by default, and if you're not paying attention, it'll be there at the bottom of every email you send from your phone.

You need to disable that, and it'll not be an issue anymore.

To me a mobile signature means their response could be more abbreviated. Also, a typo or autocorrect is more likely because the email has been sent from a mobile device.

IMO you should use a mobile signature. Especially if you plan on sending abbreviated responses or use autocorrect frequently.

IMO, it should not matter where I am replying from.

Some people I know reserve them for things like "Sent from mobile, please excuse my typos!"

After some embarrassing typos from people, I see the reasoning.

I tend to side with you on this @JaredBusch, unfortunately, people suck. So having that on by default helps to weed out the special ones.

My opinion... Who gives a shit.

If you don't want it on your outgoing messages, turn it off.

If you see it on a message sent to you, who cares?

This is the stupidest concern I've seen on here in a long time.

Ah well aren't you just a ray of sunshine.

It was simply a question. You are more then welcome to walk off the topic and not post a reply.

My question, as it were , Was to see what everyone else thinks. It was not nor will it be a problem or concern. I was curious how everyone else felt. Good to see you wasted your time replying to it to tell me your opinion, though it was so stupid of a "concern"

@JaredBusch I agree with you on Whether it being mobile or not, typos and abbreviations (especially on a professional email) Should be corrected before you send.

I don't send professional emails from mobile , maybe quick answers to internal staff or a quick reply to a supplier, but to a client I would rather use the computer to send a reply.

I just have one signature that is based on my account, goes on all outgoing mail, regardless of mobile or desktop.
