Huawei's Android replacement OS will start rolling out in June [Updated]

Updated 12:02 PM ET: Following this report, Huawei reached out to TechRadar to essentially debunk this story. There was apparently "confusion internally" about the new OS, meaning that it will not be launching in June. Instead, Huawei confirmed that HongMeng might be ready for a launch in China in late 2019 with an international release sometime in 2020.

Thanks for posting.. I wanted to comment and was busy at the time...

            So that article said this.....

WTF, how is this not a huge concern that someone can easily track where I have been based on this?

I mean it is not all that expensive to pay to get the info of the owner of a license plate.

Public records are out there already. without even going to dark web things like this are available.

Huawei: US blacklist will harm billions of consumers

A US move to put Huawei on a trade blacklist "sets a dangerous precedent" that will harm billions of consumers, the firm's top legal officer said.

Speaking at a press conference, Song Liuping said the trade ban would also "directly harm" American companies and affect jobs.
Washington recently added Huawei to a list of companies that US firms cannot trade with unless they have a licence.
