We have identified your trouble to be affected by a fiber cut that our crews have been working on since 8am this morning. Work needed is advised to be in a swampy area where they need to replace a few poles and approximately 1200 feet of cable. Crews remain on site at this time but we do not have an estimated time for repair yet.so - sounds like a truck took down the line:

Crews remain on site at this time but we do not have an estimated time for repair yet. We do have confirmation the taller poles have been set to help with clearance over a highway. We will continue to work as safety allows and provide next update in about 2 hoursWHOOT!. The line is repaired and 911 calls are again going to the site as they should be!
I may survive this week - but it is waaay to early to tell...

It's supposed to be -13 degrees Fahrenheit here in NE.
With -30 Windchill. all day til 9 am on Friday Eve.currently -12 degree outside with -28 wind chills.
